We've invited you to our planet so that you can observe our food system and learn to live in harmony with your environment.
CONCEPT
Create a "protopia" and invite earthlings to our planet so that they can learn how we interact with our environment for nutrition and hopefully feel inspired to take care of their's.
MY ROLE
I helped lead the set design team with creating the space and collaborated with the cooking team to best display their dishes and illustrate concepts.
CLIMAX
MAIN TASK
Turning the main pole into a futuristic tree used to display group mate's processed orange peels.
Using only recycled cardboard, glue, and tape, I designed and constructed a tree that could hang the oranges in a unique way and have a display space for her dish.

THE FINAL EVENT
We invited all of the study abroad students and faculty members to come experience our Savor Sphere. They interacted with all of the stations, each having a different food experience and new way for us to consider our relationships with food.
